We believe travel has no age limit, but it does have specific needs. Our holidays are thoughtfully designed for those above 50, prioritising comfort, a relaxed pace and safety.
To ensure personal attention, we keep our groups between 25 and 32 guests.
Most of our trips are mixed groups travelling with spouses, siblings, friends, or solo.
Shalini and her husband personally accompany every tour as Hindi/English-speaking Tour Managers — we are not a third-party operator, we travel with you.
Itineraries are built around comfortable timings rather than packing in the maximum number of stops. Most days have a clear morning and afternoon activity with relaxed transfers in between.
Yes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are Indian for the entire duration of every tour, including on days with full sightseeing schedules.
Coach transport is private to your Silver Trails group for the whole tour — you are not combined with unrelated travellers.
Yes, many of our travellers join solo. Our group format and the presence of Shalini and her husband throughout the tour means you're never without support or company.
We try to pair solo travellers of the same gender for twin sharing wherever possible. A single-room supplement applies for guests who prefer a room to themselves — exact supplement confirmed per tour.
Absolutely — let us know your preferred roommate at the time of booking and we'll accommodate it wherever possible.
A passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates is required. Visa requirements vary by destination — our team will guide you through the exact process for your chosen tour.
Yes, we guide every traveller through the visa process and share the document checklist well in advance of departure.
Flights, accommodation, private coach transport, all listed sightseeing and entry tickets, and Indian meals throughout are included. Exact inclusions and exclusions are confirmed at enquiry for each tour.
Please tell us about any mobility needs at the time of booking. We plan logistics — including golf carts, wheelchair assistance at airports, or seating arrangements — around what each traveller needs.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all senior travellers and can guide you to suitable providers. Confirmation of inclusion per tour is provided at enquiry.
Your Tour Managers are with the group at all times and will coordinate immediate local medical support, inform your family, and stay involved until the situation is resolved.
A booking amount confirms your seat, with the balance due before departure as per the payment schedule shared at the time of enquiry.
Cancellation slabs and refund percentages are confirmed and shared at the time of booking. We recommend reviewing the policy carefully before booking and asking us directly if anything is unclear.
We will inform you as early as possible and offer either a full refund or a transfer to an alternate batch/date, depending on your preference.
